Scottish Sikhs will be gathering at the new Glasgow Gurdwara on Albert Drive, Pollokshields to welcome bikers who are completing ‘Route 13’ to raise money for charity.

Route 13 is a 5 day trip visiting 13 towns & cities across the UK & Scotland and have chosen to mark their Glasgow trip by visiting the Glasgow Gurdwara – the spectacular new addition to Glasgow’s skyline.

The welcome delegation includes young people and members of the Glasgow Southside community.

The bikers will also be unveiling the brand new gold sign on the front face of the building.

Sharandeep Singh, youth volunteer for Young Sikh Leaders said,

“We are very excited to welcome the charity bikers who are raising funds to alleviate poverty across the globe. Their visit to the Glasgow Gurdwara marks a special moment as their presence will inspire others to participate in charitable activities.”
