Scottish Sikhs prepare to engage with influential Delhi Sikh organisation

From Saturday 21st – Monday 23rd September, the Glasgow Gurdwara Council will be welcoming the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) to Scotland as they embark on the final leg of their UK tour.

The DSGMC is the second most influential Sikh organisation in India and the senior most figures will be engaging with Scottish Sikhs on the most important issues. The delegation includes newly elected President, Mr. Manjit Singh and General Secretary Mr. Manjit Singh.

The delegation will visit Scotland’s first purpose built Gurdwara (Glasgow Gurdwara Guru Granth Sahib) and will participate in an Open Conference with members of the Scottish Sikh community on Sat 21st September at 5pm.

The delegation will take part in a full tour of the Gurdwaras in Glasgow on Sunday 22nd September with an Open Conference on Sunday 22nd September at 3pm. The delegation will visit Sikhs in Edinburgh on Monday 23rd September.
