Scotland’s Sikh community welcomes opening of new Gurdwara in Glasgow

On Sunday 15th May 2016, the Scottish Sikh community will gather to open Glasgow’s new Gurdwara (Sikh Centre) in the heart of Glasgow’s West End.

To mark this momentous occasion, we will be celebrating with an Opening Ceremony which will take place on Sunday 15th May 2016.

The Celebrations will include an all day family event including Akhand Path (continuous prayers), Marquee + Interactive Stalls, Gatka Display (Sikh Martial Art) and lots of Children’s activities!

Highlights of the Programme:

Ardaas: 930am (taking place at Berkeley St Gurdwara)

Nagar Keertan: 10am – 11am

Parkash and Nishaan Sahib: 11:00am – 12 noon

Keertan, Katha & Speeches: 12 noon – 5.30pm

Evening Divaan: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
