Recognising the achievements of the Next Generation

On Sunday 22nd March, headteacher of the Panjabi Academy, Mrs Daljeet Kaur Dilber, hosted the annual Awards Ceremony to recognise the achievements of the young people.

The Ceremony awarded high achievers and those pupils that had shown commitment to the Panjabi Academy. The Ceremony was followed by a Fun Day event which was jam-packed with fun games and activities.

Mrs Daljeet Kaur Dilber, headteacher for over three decades, commented after the event:

“Panjabi is one of the world’s most spoken languages and The Panjabi Academy is transforming the lives of these young people and whilst also playing a vital role in preserving our rich tradition and heritage. Today’s ceremony shows our commitment and dedication to the next generation and it also shows the interest and passion of our young people.

“I am looking forward to working with the Gurdwara to continue our success in promoting the Panjabi language.”
