Congratulations to all our Award Winners for their hard work and achievements in learning Panjabi – our Maa-Boli, Mother Tongue.
Daljeet Kaur Dilber, Headteacher of Panjabi Academy comments on the ceremony:
“The achievements of our young students are only possible with the hard work and dedication they have towards learning our Maa-Boli, Panjabi. Our students are passionate about learning Panjabi and they recognise the benefits in learning a second language in communicating with different generations and connecting with members of the Panjabi community.
“I also commend the commitment of our teachers who are instrumental in the achievements of the Academy. The efforts of our teachers have not only contributed to the success of young students but have only led to an increase in the number of pupils and frequency of classes. I look forward to 2016 and working with our students.”
