Panjabi lecture (Darbar Sahib)

Harinder Singh will explore the Sikh perspective on community and activism, taking examples from the Guru-period. He will focus on the role of the Gurdwara as a physical building but also discuss the internal energy we need to create to bring positive change to the Sikh community and wider community.

English Seminar for Sikh adults (Conference Room)
“Thinking Different: A New Gurdwara, What Next?”

In this seminar, Harinder Singh will hold a discussion with the next generation of Scottish Sikhs on how we can become effective community leaders, by illustrating what historical Sikhs have achieved. He will explore the contemporary issues for the Sikh Panth, locally and nationally, and what role Scottish Sikhs have in tackling these. The main aim is to inspire young people to become closer to the Gurdwara and inspire a generation of leaders and activists.
